What They Say

  • About Yoruba Alphabet Coloring Book

I thought this book was awesome for both children looking to learn the Yoruba language as well as adults. Great activity for parents to do with their kids. Each page has a letter of the Yoruba language you can color with an associated Yoruba word. And there is a numbers chart in the back of the book with how to say each number in yoruba. Honestly even as an adult, you would love it, originally purchased as a gift for my baba's children, but thinking of repurchasing a copy for myself and future children.

  • About A is for Adire! Yoruba Cultural Dictionary

    By far the best!

I've purchased several English-Yoruba books, and this one is by far the best. It has high accuracy and is free of grammatical errors. Although it was purchased for a child, I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning Yoruba. It's a great place to start.
